The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is the sixth studio album from the English rock band Genesis, released as a concept double album on 18 November 1974 on Charisma Records.

The album centres around a journey of self-discovery of Rael, a Puerto Rican youth living in New York City and the bizarre incidents and characters he meets along the way.

It is their last studio album released with Peter Gabriel as lead singer. In 2012, the album ranked fifth in Rolling Stone’s “Readers’ Poll: Your Favorite Prog Rock Albums of All Time”.
