Who’s Next is the fifth studio album by English rock band The Who. It developed from band member Pete Townshend’s aborted Lifetime project, a multi-media rock opera he wrote as a follow-up to the band’s 1969 album Tommy.

In 2003, Rolling Stone ranked it 28th on its list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In 2007, it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame for “lasting qualitative or historical significance”.
