Description

“Zapped” is a sampler “loss leader” album released in April, 1969 featuring artists [including the composer] performing covers of songs composed by Frank Zappa featuring Captain Beefheart, The GTOs, Judy Henske, Tim Buckley, Alice Cooper, Wild Man Fisher, The Mothers of Invention, and others.

The album was available by mail-order only from Warner Brothers in the U.S. and Australia. There were three versions of this sampler, this being the first.
