Down to Earth is the fifth album from English progressive rock band Nektar. Nektar were arguably the most varied of Europe’s major progressive rock bands, and Down to Earth qualifies as one of their less successful experiments.

Nestled in between what are perhaps the group’s two most challenging releases “Remember the Future”, “Recycled”, “Down to Earth” is a surprisingly “lighthearted” release with little in the way of straightforward progressive rock.
