Description

“Jeru” is an LP recorded in 1962 by Gerry Mulligan in an unconventional (for him) setting of a piano-based rhythm section featuring Tommy Flanagan and Dave Bailey.

Initially recorded for a small label, Columbia bought the masters and released the original LP. The album title is in reference to a nickname given Mulligan by Miles Davis.
