“Old No. 1” is the highly influential 1975 debut album by the late Texas singer-songwriter Guy Clark featuring the hit song “L.A. Freeway”.

Houston’s Guy Clark is well known to the outlaw movement for his poetic, stripped-to-the-truth songs about ramblers, the aged and infirmed, the drunken and the lost.

The cover of the original LP featured a painting by Susanna Clark and liner notes by Jerry Jeff Walker.
