Description

Christopher Thomas “Chris” Youlden (born January 1, 1943 in Dagenham, England) is an English blues singer. He worked with the British blues band Savoy Brown from 1967 until 1970. He has since released several solo albums.

Released in 1973, the album “Nowhere Road” featured a number of well-known session musicians including Andy Sylvester, Chris Spedding, Ray Fenwick, Roy Babbington, Bruce Rowland, Pete Wingfield and ex-Fleetwood Mac guitarist Danny Kirwin.

If you loved the Savoy Brown/Chris Youlden era you’ll most likely enjoy this album. It’s a bit more funky in places, but still blues based with Youlden’s trademark introspective lyrics.
