Christopher Thomas “Chris” Youlden (born January 1, 1943, Dagenham, England) is an English Blues singer. He worked with the British blues band Savoy Brown from 1967 until 1970. He has since released several solo albums. “City Child“ is second album by ex-Savoy Brown lead singer Chris Youlden along with some of his mates.

“City Child”, is a delight through and through. If you have discovered this treasure through his Savoy Brown albums or his debut, “Nowhere Road”, you are aware of his greatness. “City Child” does nothing to damage that legacy. Great songs like “Conjure Wife”, “Peace Of Mind”, “The Morning Light”, “Spare Change” and “Little Cog In A Big Wheel” will have you groovin’ and rockin’. Another widely undiscovered classic LP.
