“Timeless” is a compilation of recordings made by the famous pianoless groups that were led by baritone saxophonist Gerry Mulligan and trumpeter Chet Baker from 1952 to 1956. The recordings feature veteran sidemen Russ Freeman, Carson Smith, Bob Whitlock and Chico Hamilton.
