“Monk/Trane” is a re-packaging of studio sessions from 1957 recorded by groups led by pianist/composer Thelonious Monk featuring John Coltrane.

That John Coltrane played with Thelonious Monk in 1957 remains one of those astounding miracles. Only relatively recently did additional recordings of this precious collaboration come to light and see general release.
