“Extrapolation” is the debut album by Jazz guitarist John McLaughlin. It was recorded at Advision Studios in London on January 18, 1969 and first released later that year by Marmalade Records. The album was not released in the US until 1972, following McLaughlin’s success as the leader of the Mahavishnu Orchestra.
