“I.O.U.” is the debut studio album by guitarist Allan Holdsworth, released in 1982 on I.O.U. Records.

The former Gong and Soft Machine lead is in fine form on this famous progressive rock (fusion) sleeper. Holdsworth remains largely an unknown but “if God could play guitar, guess who he’d be?” (quote from a fan).
