Black Sabbath is the eponymous debut studio album by English rock band Black Sabbath. In 2005, it was ranked number 238 on Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Additionally, the opening track of the album, “Black Sabbath“, is widely considered to be the first doom metal song.
