Michael Brook  is a Canadian guitarist, inventor, producer, and film music composer who performs in many genres, including rock, electronica, world music, minimalism and film scores.

Brook has collaborated with musicians from around the world including Harold Budd, Brian Eno, Robert Fripp, Jon Hassell, Daniel Lanois, David Sylvian, and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan with whom Brook received a Grammy nomination for his work on Ali Khan’s album Night Song.

Brook’s film score credits include soundtracks for Aloft, An Inconvenient Truth, Blackhawk Down, Brooklyn, The Fighter, El Infierno, Heat, Into The Wild, The Vow, and Undefeated among others .
