Abbey Road is the eleventh studio album by the English rock band The Beatles, released on 26 September 1969 in the United Kingdom and on 1 October 1969 in the United States. In 2009, readers of Rolling Stone named Abbey Road the greatest Beatles album and in 2012, the magazine ranked it number 14 on its list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
