Also included is a fascinating hour-long interview with Evans at the piano, conducted by <b>Marian McPartland<\/b> and originally broadcast on National Public Radio in 1978.<\/p>\n<p>In these solo, duo, trio and quintet performances with <b>Tony Bennett, Ray Brown, Kenny Burrell, Eddie Gomez, Philly Joe Jones, Lee Konitz, Harold Land, Warne Marsh, Marty Morell<\/b> and <b>Eliot Zigmund<\/b>, Bill Evans is revealed as a masterful artist at the peak of his powers.<\/p>\n<p>This box set contains also a lavish 32-page booklet with an essay by <strong>Gene Lees<\/strong>, notes on the sessions by producer <strong>Helen Keane<\/strong>, and photographs of Evans during the 1970s.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><b>Original Release<\/b>.
